Something to balance that out is certainly called for. It's not a "Git Gud" situation the opposition enjoys a very definite advantage that makes the game unnecessarily hard in the beginning. The difficulty level of Wildfire is definitely HIGHER than that of regular JA2. Hell, I couldn't even recruit Dynamo: the game kept designating him as an enemy. Regen boosts only seem to work half as well as in JA2 either. and every time I try to save my game now, it crashes. The loyalty of reclaimed towns seems to fluctuate quite frequently too, regardless of whatever your party is doing. Ive gotten pretty far (liberated 3 cities, started on 4th), and I am filthy rich, Ive trained some of the dregs of the M.E.R.C list to perfection, I have tons and tons of top of the line gear.
The new restrictions on medical kits make healing injuries more problematic (not an insurmountable obstacle with a vehicle and planning in advance). This makes autofighting random patrols pretty risky because your characters can wind up being Insta-killed regardless of how extensive their armor is. And the enemies in question are NOT elite forces or Kingpin's assassins. I've also encountered situations where my own mercs can get killed by single shot from an assault rifle (NOT a headshot) despite wearing a spectra helmet AND vest AND kevlar leggings, yet it can take three or four direct hits with an identical assault rifle to kill an enemy.

Extract full release and replace files in the 'steamappscommonJagged Alliance 2', then the same with the Bugfix 4. I get the former bug all the time in vanilla but the latter sounds like your graphics card may be dying. Havent tried it though and the steps make it look quite involved.

Playing Wildfire, I've noticed how borderline OP the enemies are - I've seen them fire guns upwards of half a dozen times in a single combat round where an experienced merc with full action points with the same weapon would only be allowed to shoot a maximum of three times.and that's at Novice mode. Download the 1.13 mod through - youll need the Release 4870 and the Bugfix package for Release 4870 3. Name finally changed from RyuChan: March 28, 2012. sadly, what i want is what was in the game, it was just removed. so i have to go for other sources that will allow me to do what i want. bought game, payed for it, cant enjoy it without restrictions. you pirate it, you get to enjoy the movie.
you pay for it, you see 20 minutes of commercials, no piracy ad etc. Kinda shame that if someone wants to play the game as he wants to, he has to go for other sources. the style suits me, i can do whatever i want to, its a game, it is supposed to be fun. I finished Gold after 60 hours of playing, with cheats. What kind of policy is that? Why everyone wanna today tell, make other people do what they want to? Where is the freedom? The choice? so i wanna enjoy the game as I want to, why I cant? I am working man, dont have as much time as I had years ago. cant cheat? Like really? Why? Is there no way to enable it for real? I played JA1/2/UB/WF long time ago, when it was released.
